Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes Enjoy Night Out in NYC
Newly dubbed “football besties,” Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes, had a fabulous night out in New York City while the Kansas City Chiefs prepared for their game in Germany against the Miami Dolphins. Paparazzi caught the dynamic duo entering Bond St. Sushi in NYC, accompanied by none other than Selena Gomez. Gomez arrived separately. The glamorous squad also included models Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne, who left the restaurant together with Swift’s group.
Swift, 33, sported a chic “deep fall” look, wearing a black long-sleeved top, a pleated tweed miniskirt, and striking black thigh-high boots. Mahomes, 28, turned heads in a navy corseted jumpsuit with a white coat draped over her shoulders. Turner, 27, rocked a turquoise plaid blazer paired with light-wash jeans and bright blue heels.
Swift and Mahomes’ newfound friendship has blossomed alongside Taylor Swift’s romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Brittany Mahomes, married to quarterback Patrick Mahomes since March 2022, and a mother to daughter Sterling, 2, and son Bronze, 12 months, shares a close bond with the NFL star.

An insider revealed, “Brittany is thrilled to be building a genuine friendship with Taylor. They’ve hung out a couple of times and have grown fairly close in a short period of time. Brittany thinks Taylor is so sweet, and down to earth, and they get along really great. The fact that Patrick and Travis are best friends makes things even better. They’re having a blast and love cheering on their men together.”
Their friendship began with Brittany joining Swift and Turner for a girl’s night out in September ahead of a Chiefs vs. New York Jets game. The following day, they cheered on the team alongside a star-studded crowd, including Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy, Sabrina Carpenter, and Hugh Jackman.
Swift and the Kansas City Current co-owner reunited to support the Chiefs on October 22 at Arrowhead Stadium. They even showed off a touchdown celebration handshake, and Swift sent Mahomes a “1989” sweater to celebrate her re-released album.
Brittany Mahomes is currently in New York City with other wives of Chiefs players, enjoying a leisurely afternoon tea at the iconic Plaza Hotel with Paige Buechele, wife of quarterback Shane Buechele, and Lindsay Bell, wife of tight end Blake Bell.
While the women savor their time in the Big Apple, the NFL players are gearing up for the big game in Germany, as the Chiefs take on the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt, which kicks off at 9:30 a.m. ET.
As for whether Swift will be traveling to Europe to watch Kelce play, he remained coy during a press conference on November 3, stating, “When I mention — or everyone knows — she’s at the game, the Vegas [line] and over-under on my catches goes up and down. The spread goes up and down. So I don’t want to mess with any of that stuff. I’m just going to keep that to myself.”
Indeed, statistics have shown that the Chiefs’ performance seems to benefit when Swift is present at their games. However, Kelce refrained from revealing too much about his personal relationship with the singer, saying, “I’m going to keep my personal relationship personal.”
