He highlighted the fact that releasing too many films at the same time would not only divide the audience’s attention but also lead to a decline in box office collections. Fawad believes that the move is unwise and may have adverse effects on the industry.
Among the local films set to release on Eid Fitr, Fawad named Money Back Guarantee, Dorr, Daadal, Huey Tum Ajnabi, and Lahore Qalandar. While the names of the Hollywood movies have not been disclosed yet, it is expected that they will give tough competition to the local films.
