The story fast-forwards five years from the first movie, and there’s a lot of pressure from the public to change how the police use deadly force. But instead of really changing, the power gets shuffled around and sold to the public as something different.

“Code 8: Part II” is set in a place called Lincoln City, where 4% of the people have special powers. It follows the journey of a teenage girl with these powers and is trying to get justice for her brother, who was killed by corrupt cops. After seeing what happened and the cover-up, she becomes a target herself. So, she asks for help from Connor who is out of jail and working as a janitor at a community center.

He’s trying to stay away from trouble after cutting ties with his old criminal friend, Garrett. But things get messy when he’s forced to help her. King is using new robot dogs to track Pav, and Connor has to turn to Garrett again for help, but he’s not sure if he can trust him. Together, they have to deal with a group of corrupt cops who are using advanced robots to hide their bad deeds.
